Attending EVS 30

Blog

“The best way to predict the future is to invent it.” That was a quote from Espen Haugen, the WEVA President, in his editorial note in the EVS 30 conference program, and it’s also a great summary of the innovation and ingenuity we saw at EVS 30. The conference brought together top industry experts and had something for everyone attending. Fortum Charge & Drive’s stand was immediately next to the test drive area – and even seasoned industry experts as ourselves were blown away at the fact that over 30 different vehicles were being test driven immediately next to us, soundless and scentless  – the only thing audible was the buzz of conversation. As we have seen before, OEMs and automobile manufactures were well represented. It made for some truly spectacular stands and provided a great opportunity to learn about the latest trends on the market and share our expertise as the leading CPO in the Nordics.

“The best thing about attending EVS30 this year was the opportunity to meet up with our friends, partners, and clients from around the world,” commented Rami Syväri, acting VP of Fortum Charge & Drive. “It’s rare that so many e-mobility experts and enthusiasts come together in the same place, and getting to see the latest innovations from all the EV industry – from the latest charging infrastructure to concept cars from automobile heavyweights – was truly exhilarating.”

EVS 31 will be held in Kobe, Japan, from September 30th to October 3rd, 2018.

EVS30 was located at Messe Stuttgart, immediately next to the Stuttgart airport.
