To become a customer, download the Fortum Charge & Drive app from the App Store or Google Play and register an account for free.
For an enhanced charging experience, consider getting the Fortum Charge & Drive charging accessory, either as a key or card. Ordering is a breeze right from the app:
Open the app
Tap on the "Account" symbol at the screen's base
Select "Get a charging card"
Pick your preferred accessory (card or key format)
Tap on "Add to cart"
Review your items in the “My cart” by clicking “View Cart” or the shopping cart button
Proceed to the next step by clicking “Continue”
Fill in the shipping details and payment information
Confirm your order. Expect your accessory within 7 to 14 days.

Open the Fortum Charge & Drive app.
Tap the "Account" menu at the screen's base.
Navigate to Account "Charging cards".
Choose "Activate charging card".
Input the accessory’s unique code.
Finalize by selecting "Payment method linked to this charging card
Your primary payment method is automatically linked to your charging key (RFID). To associate a charging key (RFID) with a different payment method, modify settings in the "Charging Cards" tab.
Choose from a variety of payment methods for your convenience, including:
Credit or Debit Cards
Apple Pay and Google Pay
Only for business customers
Invoicing
It is important that you have a valid payment method linked to your account before you carry out a charging session. This is done in the following way:
Open the app
Press "Account"
Press "Payment methods"
Press "Add payment method"
Select the desired payment method
Fill in the details and press "Continue"
The card will be added to the overview of your payment methods

Prices are 7€/69 SEK/69 NOK for the standard RFID-key or RFID-card, and 9€/89 SEK/89 NOK for the premium version.
At Fortum Charge & Drive, our collaboration with a variety of charge point operators (CPOs) enables us to provide an extensive and user-friendly charging network for our customers. As a result, the pricing for using our services varies across different charging points and operators.
Each charge point operator sets their own prices, which directly influences the final price you see in the Fortum Charge & Drive app. Occasionally, you might notice a significant price difference between our app and the charge point operator's native service or drop-in charging option. This discrepancy is usually due to the pricing strategy of the charge point operator.
We are constantly working with our partners to improve pricing for our customers and to ensure that our pricing remains competitive and consistent across the network.
You can always check the current price of the charging station in our app. Simply tap on the charger you wish to use, and the price will be displayed in the information section.While certain third-party RFID tags might work, we cannot ensure consistent functionality across all charging stations and with every charge point operator in the network to which we provide access. For a seamless and reliable charging experience, we strongly recommend using Fortum Charge & Drive’s own RFID tags, which are designed to be fully compatible with our services and network.
Absolutely! To start charging, simply open the app and select a charging station from the map. Once you've chosen the right station, pick the appropriate outlet to initiate the charging process. It’s that easy!
No worries! Simply go to the login page and click on the "Forgot password?" option. Provide the email address tied to your account, and we'll promptly send a verification code to your email. You can then use this code in the app or on our website to set up a new password and access your account again.

When you start a charging session, we will preauthorize 40 EUR or 400 SEK/NOK on your credit card. This preauthorization ensures that funds are available for your charging session.
A preauthorization can only be made once every 6 hours, so if you have multiple charging sessions within that period, only one amount (40 EUR or 400 SEK/NOK) will be preauthorized. After 6 hours, a new preauthorization will be made if you start another charging session.
This policy helps ensure that funds are available for your charging needs and makes the payment process smoother and more efficient. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact our customer support team.
