• How do I order a Fortum Charge & Drive charging key or charging card (RFID)?

  For an enhanced charging experience, consider getting the Fortum Charge & Drive charging accessory, either as a key or card. Ordering is a breeze right from the app:

  1. Open the app and tap on "Account"

  2. Select "Charging cards"

  3. Pick your preferred format (key or card) and add to cart

  4. Complete payment and confirm your order.

  5. Delivery: Arrives within 7–14 days.

  💡 Once your charging card or key arrives, activate it in the app for seamless charging!

• How do I register and activate a charging key or charging card (RFID)?

  • Open the Fortum Charge & Drive app.

  • Tap the "Account" menu at the screen's base.

  • Navigate to Account "Charging cards".

  • Choose "Activate charging card".

  • Input the accessory’s unique code.

  • Finalize by selecting "Payment method linked to this charging card"

  Your primary payment method is automatically linked to your charging key (RFID). To associate a charging key (RFID) with a different payment method, modify settings in the "Charging Cards" tab.

• How much does a charging key (RFID) cost?

  • RFID charging card: 5 € / 49 SEK / 49 NOK

  • RFID charging key: 7€ / 69 SEK / 69 NOK

  • Premium version: 9 € / 89 SEK / 89 NOK

• Can multiple charging keys (RFIDs) be linked to one account?

  Yes, you can link multiple charging keys or cards to your account, allowing you flexibility and convenience in managing your charging needs.

• Why isn't my charging key (RFID) starting a charge?

  If you encounter issues starting a charge, please check:

  • If your payment method is valid.

  • That the charging key is registered and its serial number matches the one in the app.

  • For any unpaid charges in your charging history.

  These steps often resolve common issues with starting a charge.

• Which charging keys (RFIDs) are available at Fortum Charge & Drive?

  We offer a variety of charging accessories:

  • Charging card

  • Standard charging key

  • Premium charging key

  Select the one that best suits your needs for an enhanced charging experience.

• Can I use charging keys (RFIDs) from other providers?

  While certain third-party RFID tags might work, we cannot ensure consistent functionality across all charging stations and with every charge point operator in the network to which we provide access. For a seamless and reliable charging experience, we strongly recommend using Fortum Charge & Drive’s own RFID tags, which are designed to be fully compatible with our services and network.

• I lost my charging key (RFID). What should I do?

  If you lose your charging key, immediately deactivate it in the "Charging Keys" section of the app or our website to protect your account.

• What if I no longer need my charging key (RFID)?

  If you no longer require your charging key, you can deactivate it. You may choose to dispose of it safely or keep it for future use.

• How long does charging key (RFID) delivery take?

  Your charging key will be dispatched via standard mail and should arrive within 7-14 business days. Ensure your delivery details are correct for a smooth process.
